WHEN:               Saturday, November 19 from 3-5 p.m. PST

Royce Gracie:
The name Gracie is synonymous with MMA, and that is largely in part to Royce Gracie, the man who is considered to have invented the sport, as we know it today.  The winner of the first several UFC events, Gracie would dismantle multiple opponents in a single night, many of which were much larger than him.  For many years there was no answer for the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu technique that he brought into a fight.  Today, it's hard to find an MMA fighter who hasn't trained in the art of Brazilian jiu-jitsu that his father invented. In February of 2016, Gracie headlined "Bellator 149," an event that shattered company viewership records that remain intact to this day.

Phil Davis:
The newest Bellator MMA Light Heavyweight Champion of the world, "Mr. Wonderful's" world tour now begins in San Jose. One of the brightest and most charismatic personalities in all of sports, Davis is one of the top ranked light heavyweight fighters in the world, having finished his opponent in eight of his 17 career wins, including five submission victories. The 32-year-old Penn State alum won an NCAA National Championship and four All-American accolades during his time at the university. Having won four consecutive contests to start his tenure with the promotion, "Mr. Wonderful" now looks to make his first title defense at some point in 2017.

Matt Mitrione:
Matt Mitrione remains poised to make an immediate impact in the Bellator heavyweight division following two wins since signing with Bellator. The Illinois native and standout defensive end at Purdue earned All-Big Ten honors in 2000 and subsequently earned his way into the NFL as a free agent where he played six seasons as a member of the New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings. Still desiring to compete after the NFL, Mitrione found the sport of MMA after close friend and professional baseball player Jayson Werth requested Mitrione fight in his start-up promotion. After relocating to Indianapolis, Mitrione ultimately found his way into the UFC where he became a high level competitor inside the promotion, defeating the likes of: Kimbo Slice, Tim Hague, Derrick Lewis, and Gabriel Gonzaga.

"Bellator 165: Chandler vs. Henderson" airs LIVE and FREE at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT on Spike and completes three consecutive weeks of championship fights on the Viacom-owned network. Tickets for the event remain on sale and can be purchased at, as well as the SAP Center Box Office and Ticketmaster.
